Thanks for the tip on blade tip speed, never heard of that one. I will be looking into the 5' mower for $1400 this weekend. It seemed like a really good deal.

Not sure why everyone doesn't use the self bleeding method? Once I figured out how to bleed my setup it wasn't too bad. Just had to WALK back to the garage and get a phillips screw driver and a 12mm wrench.

Ran out of Diesel filled it up and now it won 039t start

Don't forget about Osgood's in Dixfield, ME. They gave me a good deal on my 7205 a few weeks ago, nice people. Waterman's prices are unbelievably high!

That's was the part I was concerned with, the dirt sticking to the lub. Here in Maine the dust isn't bad but I would think it doesn't take much to stick into the grease and cause friction.
Will be looking into the northern tools stuff for fluid transfers. Thanks for the tip on the bolts and coolant changing.
My next purchase will be a pressure washer. The mud just stains my fancy yellow paint! A link to my tractor page is below.

It was a tough choice but I ended up getting a Cub Cadet 7205 (20hp, hydrost, 4wd, power steering with it's own pump) with a 475 loader. Brand new, 0 hrs, it cost me $13,900. Seemed like a good deal. Bummer is that the BX2200 came with the belly mower but I'll probably just get a pull behind for the cub. The cub seems to be more comparable to the B2400 Kubota, which runs $16k new. The cub will be here in a few hours! Is being delivered by the dealer in Dixfield, ME. Will let you know how I like it after I play!

Nice! What kind of current can the JD 4400 electrical system put out? Those winches can pull 100's of amps at times! good luck
